What is Classic mode?
Classic is the primary win condition: path biomes, beat trainers, and defeat Eternatus to unlock other modes.
How does the egg gacha / legendary gacha work?
Egg Vouchers buy eggs from gacha machines. Daily Run completion grants a Premium voucher once per day. Species eggs unlock via candies after you own that starter’s candy options; wild Shiny Charm events do not boost egg shinies unless an event says so (official FAQ).
How do starter unlocks and growth rate work?
- Unlock starters: Catch, hatch, or otherwise obtain a species during a run to add its line to starter select (gender, nature, ability, form, shiny variants unlock as you find them).
- Candies: Spend on cost reduction (up to two steps), passive ability, and species eggs.
- Growth rate: Shows how fast that starter gains EXP — Erratic (fastest) → Fast → Medium Fast → Medium Slow → Slow → Fluctuating (slowest). It is not a “power” rating.
- “Unblock” / grey silhouettes: Seen-but-not-caught species stay locked until you unlock them properly in a run — DexHacks does not ship unlock cheats or mod menus.
What does Golden Punch do in PokéRogue?
Golden Punch awards money from direct damage only — damage-over-time ticks do not pay out (confirmed in Pagefault Games issue discussions). Stack Exp Share / Lucky Egg style modifiers when offered.
When should I pick Unburden or Endeavor?
Only when your held-item break or HP strategy matches — they are situational, not universal “must pick” rewards.
