Fix RTC Tampering & Time Errors in Delta iOS — Pokémon Unbound

Delta iOS emulator uses an older VBA-M core structure, which has synchronization vulnerabilities when handling dynamic Real Time Clock (RTC) registers in Pokémon Unbound.

1. The 'RTC Tampering Detected' Error

Delta's Fast Forward function multiplies virtual CPU cycles. If a player speeds up the game for hours near real-world midnight (e.g., playing at 23:30 real time while the virtual clock ticks past 01:10 next day), the save file records a "future" timestamp. When the emulator reboots next time with real device time, the engine detects that the save is from the future, triggers the anti-cheat flag, and freezes all clock events.

Additionally, Delta's Google Drive/Dropbox sync can cause synchronization overlap, corrupting save state caches and causing crashes.

2. Step-by-Step RTC Reset Procedure

Method A: The Frozen Heights NPC (Official Reset)

  1. Navigate to Frozen Heights in your game.
  2. Enter Professor Log's Lab and talk to the RTC traveler NPC located right outside the lab entrance.
  3. Accept the prompt to synchronize clock registers. The NPC will wipe the future date offset and align GBA time with host iOS time. Note: This NPC can only be used once per save file.

Method B: Real-Time Catchup

  1. Look at your save screen and note the "future save date" (e.g., January 2nd, 01:10).
  2. Turn off Delta's cloud sync to prevent immediate overwrite loops.
  3. Leave Delta closed and wait until your real iOS device clock naturally passes that future save time. Once real time catches up, launch Unbound and the warning will clear.
